Silent disco Helsinki: island parties and quiet summer nights
A silent disco in Helsinki suits a city of islands, saunas and white summer nights. Three channels in every headphone, and the sea stays silent.

Helsinki parties tend to spill outdoors as soon as the summer arrives: island restaurants, seaside saunas, courtyards in Kallio and terraces facing the harbour. Sound carries a long way over the Baltic, and many of these places have homes close by. A silent disco solves it neatly. The music goes straight into the headphones, guests choose between three channels, and the night can last as long as the light does.
In winter the format moves indoors, to offices, design spaces and event halls, where three DJs can share a single room without clashing. Silentsystem has built these headphones since 2012, with patented Super Power Bass tuning for full sound over radio. Finland is in the EU, so the kit ships from our warehouses in Italy and Spain and arrives one or two days before your event. New to the format? Read what a silent disco is.
Where to hold a silent disco in Helsinki
Sea, saunas and design: Helsinki's settings and a silent party go well together.
Island venues
Suomenlinna and the smaller islands near the city host summer parties and weddings. Headphones keep the music close to your guests and away from the water.
Seaside saunas and terraces
Public and private sauna venues by the sea are a Helsinki favourite. A silent party adds music without adding noise to a relaxing place.
Courtyards and rooftops
Kallio, Punavuori and the centre have courtyards and roof terraces shared with residents. Headphones are the considerate choice.
Design and event halls
Former industrial spaces and design venues host launches and company nights, where three channels set different moods.
